求知不求甚解矣！

下午做了一个阅读，错的很悲壮！原因竟然是是把intellect和intelligence搞晕，学了这么多年从来没仔细区分过这两个单词，这maybe就是我英语学不好的原因。查呀查！

intellect: n.  intellect is the ability to understand or deal with ideas and information.

intellect is the quality of being very intelligent or clever

intelligence:n.    Intelligence is the quality of being intelligent or clever.

Intelligence is the ability to think, reason, and understand instead of doing things automatically or by instinct.

intellectual:adj.  Intellectual means involving a person’s ability to think and to understand ideas and information.

intelligent: adj.  A person or animal that is intelligent has the ability to think, understand, and learn things quickly and well.

Something that is intelligent has the ability to think and understand instead of doing things automatically or by instinct.

其实貌似区别也不大，都有智力的意思，也可以是intellect强调是能力，而intelligence强调的是智慧、智商这么个具体的东西。智力经过培养就可以变的很智慧，我是这么认为滴。

那文章大意：现代美国社会不重视智力，甚至学校也是如此，只注重培养学生的实验操作能力，然而，缺少智力，整个社会的文明程度将会降低，人们厌恶智力，将其看作权力和特权，许多哲学家都将书本知识看作是对孩子的束缚，人们认为智力与天生的智慧是不同的。

其实这文章读起来相当别扭。。。
